Adam Mann

Democrat Candidate for State Representative

House District 63

I am Adam Mann, and I am running for State Representative for House District 63. House District 63 currently covers all of Martin County, most of Daviess County, half of Dubois County, and a part of Pike County.

I want to bring responsibility and balance back to Indiana’s government. Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, or Apathetic, we all still agree on the same problems. The issue is we obscure this agreement with labels to create division and hate between us Hoosiers, allowing big money to roll in and warp our laws, take our land and resources, and transform us into a police state. Words like conservative, liberal, moderate, left, center, right, and more are made meaningless in the ever-changing world of politics. I don’t care for these labels. I want Indiana to live within its means, and spend what resources we can pool together on Indiana first. I want to deregulate Hoosier lives, focus on all aspects of the affordability crisis, make big businesses responsible, help small businesses thrive, and challenge political theater.

I was born and raised in Dubois County, and I lived here for most of my life. I went through Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools, choosing the difficult classes in order to learn more. I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Indiana. Deep down, I am a problem solver. There is no subject I can’t learn and no job I cannot acclimate. I know how to lead and the qualities needed for leadership. Leadership means proving yourself and earning respect, taking initiatives to bring everyone together. I have no more power than what you permit me.

Overall, we need to raise the bar.

If you know of events and places for me to visit and greet voters, contact me at the phone number or email. I will try to find time to greet people who are willing to meet me. I am also open to positive suggestions for getting more public outreach without texting people and visiting people at their homes.

Win or lose, we need to do more to bring out communities back together and put our state on the right path for everyone.
